Automation and Development Supervisor
The Automation and Development Supervisor supports new and existing systems/processes, driving process standardization, automation, and improvement in the controls while ensuring efficiencies and compliance needs are met.
Position Duties & Requirements

Provide automation solutions to mechanical problems with the assistance of customer support

Manage all automation projects

Responsible for inventory of machinery components, fixtures, and supplies

Educate technicians on proper operation, maintenance, and care of equipment
-
Responsible for maintenance (planned and unplanned) of equipment supporting manufacturing needs
-
Oversee labeling, printing, COAs, and any other computer-related problems surrounding production, deliveries, and orders

Subject Matter Expert (SME) on automation equipment

Assist with installation, start-up, qualification, and troubleshooting activities
-
Ability to work to improve equipment functionality, throughput, and uptime of equipment

Directing day-to-day workload and directions to technicians
-
Maintaining a leadership outlook through a positive attitude for your team

Monitor and track system performance, including downtime

High level of communication and reporting

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to policies and regulations

Ability to build a reliable team and resolve issues to ensure top-quality products are produced

Maintain and schedule preventative maintenance to ensure proper operations of all machinery

Oversee all inspections and review equipment installations for design and operation

Monitor daily record keeping, including electronic documentation for production and compliance with regulations

Manage employee productivity and hold employees accountable for achieving company goals and production

Provide expertise and continue the advancement of automated systems

Controller
Grow West is a fast-growing cannabis company with headquarters in Cumberland, Maryland. We are seeking an experienced Controller with a proven track record of supporting high-level financials to join us in contributing to the continued success and growth of our organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller oversees all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing. Their main duties include building revenue reports, distributing calculated funds to various departments, and implementing company financial policies. The Controller will work with the executive team to build and deliver financial policies and strategies that improve the business’s financial status. You will oversee all the financial operations within each department to ensure their spending is within the budget and follow the financial policies laid out by the CFO.
Position Duties & Requirements

Preparing financial statements, both internal and external.

Monitor the company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.

Assist management with important financial decisions.

Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.

Coordinating external auditor activity.

Establish and maintain financial controls.

Assess and improve accounting procedures.

Supervising AR, AP, and Staff Accountants.

Creating strategic plans for financial operations.

Providing company leaders with insights for decision-making purposes.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
-
CPA and MBA certifications are preferred but not required.
