Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Grow West MD, LLC is a family-owned and operated medical cannabis pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Cumberland, MD. We are hiring a full-time Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. Function: Analyze consumer behavior and direct efforts to maximize the demand for the products and services through managing marketing and social media sites.

Responsibilities: Manage social media and marketing accounts for the grow and dispensary (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn). High level of communication with IT and Sales Director. Coordinate methods and material for advertising through media, print, radio etc. Ability to produce high-quality company content and use digital marketing initiatives to increase rankings, conversion, and click-through rates. Execute and analyze marketing campaigns, advertisements, and performance metrics. Manage and coordinate advertising opportunities. Create and monitor online blogs to track communications related to our brand. Coordinate company newsletter, patient newsletter, and quarterly investor newsletter. Continue cannabis education and maintain up-to-date product knowledge. Maintaining private and confidential, sensitive patient information must always be HIPPA compliant. Creative ability to think outside the box to capture and keep the media’s attention. Ability to manipulate, create images and photos for product and company advertising. Routine coordination and interface between management Ensuring company image and brand voice across all channels and copyediting marketing materials. Assist the sales director in marketing strategies and trends with new advertising and event planners as needed. Assist the design team by providing content and images as necessary when launching a new idea. Coordinate to maximize publicity, company image, and product definition. Track public responses and comments related to company campaign and image. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: University degree or college diploma in business, marketing/communications, or related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in professional marketing. Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS). Critical thinker with strong problem solving and research proficiencies. Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes. Strong leadership, training, and sales support. Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior-level executives. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Highly organized and able to prioritize projects to meet deadlines. Must have a strong focus on content creation using Adode Suites and Social Media strategies to drive brand awareness and engage target audiences organically. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint) Must have experience working in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and Google Analytics.

Facility Automation Engineer

Grow West MD, LLC is a family-owned and operated medical cannabis pharmaceutical manufacturing facility located in Cumberland, MD. We are hiring a full-time Facility Automation Engineer to join our growing team. Function: Applying engineering technology principles to solve problems, design, and implement solutions. Day-to-day tasks include performing tests, collecting data, assembling equipment, recording performance, and analysis of systems and equipment.  Oversee and coordinate the maintenance of all company equipment, buildings, and property; manage and coordinate office moves, new construction, and alternations.

Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Improve performance and increase energy efficiency to get the maximum out of the system’s capabilities and minimize downtime. Manage main sources of heating, ventilation, air conditioning testing, adjusting, and balancing systems (HVAC), air handling units, H2O control pump, H2O heat pump systems, hot water boiler, generator system, and lighting, etc.24/7 control system and maintenance support. Apply a working knowledge of product design and assembly. Assist in processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary and performance goals. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration. Creative thinking, problem-solving, and development for operational systems. Establishes effective and efficient work sequences. Develops and implements a repair program for all maintenance, operations equipment, and transport vehicles. Establishes and monitors a long-term business development plan and strategic goals. Negotiates with and manages vendor relationships. Develops least-cost approaches for operations and maintenance. Completes all required reports and paperwork. Establishes and maintains professional communication with vendors. Develops, implements, and monitors department budget; manages expenses within approved budget constraints. Implements opportunities for continuous improvement. Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops maintenance staff; manages schedules and workflow. Assigns duties and monitors the quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and federal/state regulations. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance. Keeps up to date on the overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas, and taking corrective actions. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Proven leadership and business acumen skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, or related field or equivalent to. Five years related experience. HVAC Certified. Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Teamwork and interpersonal communication skills. Strong technical writing ability. Expertise in working with engineering and computer-assisted design software. Demonstrated skill in solving highly technical problems. Advanced knowledge of machinery and processes. Proficiency in computer technology and systems operations. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Proven leadership and business acumen skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
